Gas fire safety knowledge

If an electrical appliance or electrical circuit catches fire, cut off the power supply, then use a fire extinguisher or wet quilts to extinguish the fire. Do not pour water directly to extinguish the fire with electricity, to prevent electric shock or electrical explosion.

1. In kitchens using liquefied petroleum gas, coal stoves, kerosene stoves, and other stoves cannot be used at the same time. Once the liquefied gas equipment leaks, it can cause combustion or explosion when it encounters a fire.

2. To check for gas leaks, you can use a soft brush, brush,h or toothbrush dipped in soapy water to apply to pipes and stoves. Wherever there are bubbles where soapy water is applied, there is a leak.

3. After the gas tank catches fire, do not panic, cover the fire with wet bedding and clothing, and then quickly close the gas tank valve to isolate the gas and oxygen, thereby extinguishing the fire.

4. If you find a gas leak, quickly close the gas source valve, open the doors and windows for ventilation, do not touch the electrical switch or use open flames, and do not make phone calls or mobile phones in the gas leak location.

Electrical fire safety

1. Do not pull wires privately, do not overload electricity, do not use too many electrical devices on the socket, and replace the aging wires in time.

2. When using electric irons, electric soldering irons, and other electric heating appliances, they must be kept away from flammable items. After use, the power should be cut off and the plug should be unplugged to prevent accidents.

3. Do not use electric blankets continuously for a long time. Cut off the power when there is a power outage or when people leave.
